DEOS for OEMs
A Brand-Wide Engagement Framework That Connects Manufacturer Strategy With Local Dealer Execution
An automotive brand's customer relationship spans manufacturer communications, dealership sales, vehicle delivery, maintenance, recalls, ownership support, and the next purchase. These activities often have different owners and systems. DEOS provides a framework for coordinating the engagement across that relationship while preserving the respective authority of the manufacturer and participating dealerships.
An OEM can use DEOS for a defined direct program, a participating dealer-network deployment, or an eligible dealer-funded or co-op-supported arrangement. The operating value is the ability to establish common standards and coordinate execution without requiring every customer interaction to originate from the same organizational level.
Brand Strategy And Local Relationships In The Same Framework
OEM teams can define approved campaign objectives, content, vehicle information, program rules, and measurement standards. Participating dealerships can apply authorized local inventory, personnel, operating hours, service availability, and offers. Both can communicate with customers through a coordinated policy that respects the program's permissions and responsibilities.
| Program Layer | OEM Contribution | Local Dealer Execution |
|---|---|---|
| Brand And Creative | Approved language, vehicle assets, templates, identity standards, and required disclosures. | Authorized store identity, personnel, location details, and local creative adaptations. |
| Customer Lifecycle | Defined ownership, retention, service, and repurchase initiatives. | Relevant customer follow-up using authorized store records and current circumstances. |
| Service And Recall | Authoritative program information, eligibility criteria, and remedy messaging. | Confirmed local appointment options, advisor handoffs, and available service capacity. |
| Commercial Campaigns | Approved national or regional program terms and campaign windows. | Accurate local inventory, dealer participation, eligible offers, and accountable follow-through. |
| Reporting And Oversight | Agreed definitions, authorized program views, and exception monitoring. | Source-confirmed activity, bookings, completed work, and correction of local data issues. |
This arrangement supports simultaneous OEM and local activity. Shared campaign rules identify ownership, sequencing, suppression, contact limits, and escalation so a national initiative does not conflict with a local conversation or recently completed transaction.
Coordinated Execution Across The Ownership Cycle
A delivery program can combine an approved manufacturer introduction with a local management welcome, vehicle guidance, and first-service follow-up. A maintenance initiative can use eligible connected information to prepare relevant messages, manage replies, and offer appointments through a supported scheduler. A recall program can communicate authoritative facts and route the customer to an appropriate participating store without implying a remedy or appointment that has not been confirmed.
DEOS supports personalized video, enabled conversational voice and messaging, internal staff collaboration, role-aware intelligence, and controlled agent execution. OEM teams can use approved templates and assets at program scale; dealerships can continue routine local sales and service engagement within their assigned scope. Human replica or voice use remains subject to the individual's authorization and the permitted purpose.
The system's role is to connect information, communication, and follow-through. A delivered message, booked appointment, completed repair, and incremental commercial result remain distinct measures.
An Authorized Network, Not An Unrestricted Data Pool
OEM access is established through participating-dealer authority, applicable agreements, and the defined program. Brand affiliation alone does not permit access to every dealership's customer records. A deployment can provide authorized program reporting without exposing unrelated customer information or another dealership's confidential business activity.
DEOS maintains dealership tenant boundaries and purpose-limited exchanges. Permission to deliver a brand campaign does not become permission to reuse dealer data for unrelated marketing or shared model training. The program design identifies which organization holds the relevant customer relationship, what information is needed, and how rights, preferences, and corrections are handled.
Integration scope can include approved OEM systems and participating dealerships' DMS, CRM, inventory, and scheduling connections. Compatibility, vendor permission, permitted records, and enabled operations are established for each deployment. API availability does not remove the need for an authorized data flow.
Direct, Network, And Co-Op Deployment
A practical rollout begins with a defined brand program and representative participating stores. The initial phase validates source coverage, OEM/local responsibilities, content approval, contact coordination, scheduling, handoffs, and reporting before wider deployment.
For co-op-supported adoption, the OEM and program administrator establish eligibility, funding, approved activities, documentation, and reimbursement rules. DEOS can support an agreed program structure; use of the platform does not itself confer OEM endorsement, co-op eligibility, or reimbursement approval.
Enterprise arrangements define the participating network, services, integration scope, commercial terms, support, and governance. Regional variation and franchise requirements are addressed in that structure rather than assuming a manufacturer has unrestricted control of local retail activity.
Define A Brand Or Dealer-Network Program
